Who is responsible for your data

Werk Studio is the trading name of Arian Heydari, a sole trader in the UK. Arian Heydari is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at privacy@werkstudioo.com.

What we collect

If you request a guided demo, we collect your name, email address, business name and the service you are interested in. You may also choose to provide a website address and details about what you need help with.

We also process a short-lived, one-way identifier derived from request network information to limit abusive submissions. The raw network address is not added to analytics or sent with the demo request by this site.

If you book a call, Cal.com collects the details you enter in its booking form.

Why we use it

We use demo-request information to respond to your enquiry and arrange the guided walkthrough you requested. Submitting the form does not enrol you in marketing.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests: responding to business enquiries, arranging the demos and calls you ask for, keeping a record of our conversation, and protecting the form from abuse. We weigh those interests against your rights, and you can object at any time.

Who handles it

Arian Heydari reads your enquiry. We also use these service providers, who handle it only to provide their service to us:

  • Vercel hosts this website and receives the form.
  • Supabase stores demo requests.
  • Resend emails us each new request.
  • Cloudflare runs our domain and forwards email sent to our addresses.
  • Google (Gmail) is our email inbox.
  • Cal.com schedules the calls you book.

We don't sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing. We may disclose it where the law requires us to.

International transfers

Supabase stores demo requests in London. Our other providers are US companies and may process your information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law allows, such as the UK–US data bridge or the standard contractual clauses in each provider's data processing terms. Email us for details.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete it. If you become a client, the details we need move into our client records. We delete your information sooner if you ask and we no longer need it, unless the law requires us to keep it. The abuse-prevention identifier is held for no more than 15 minutes.

Analytics and cookies

Werk Studio does not run an analytics provider, and this site sets no cookies of its own. The Cal.com booking window loads Cal.com's code, which may set a security cookie used to block bots.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. To make a request, email us. We may need to confirm your identity first.

If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
